Our Houseplant Collection
As an enthusiast in the world of houseplants, we are here to share with you the incredible benefits of houseplants and how we manage our collection. Many of our plants have come back from the brink and have the potential to bring beauty, health, and sustainability into your home.
With our sustainable focus at Tea & Leaves, we believe in recycle, reduce and reuse and have tried to capture this with our houseplant collection. We also believe that unhappy houseplants deserve more to life and all the energy used to grow them initially is being wasted, so this is why we rescue houseplants from unfavourable conditions or situations, and give them the care and attention they need to thrive once more.
Some of our plants are propagated at our home from our mother plants and with nurture and encouragement, they grow to become healthy individuals, without the big carbon footprint of shipping costs and unhealthy nurseries.
Furthermore, rescuing houseplants is an environmentally responsible choice. By giving these plants a second chance, you are reducing waste and promoting sustainability. Instead of purchasing new plants that require resources to grow and transport, you can adopt rescued houseplants and contribute to a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
So this is why our collection is unique and sometimes depleted, stocks rarely last and many plants are one off's. If you like it, buy it as it is unlikely to be there when you return.
We appreciate your patience with our collection and hope that you appreciate our hard work to avoid buying in standard stocks.
Our shop in Newquay houses our current collection, so head down there if you can and check it out!
